Nada Abdallah, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Abdallah is passionate about improving her patients’ quality of life by helping them achieve their clearest vision. She enjoys spending time with her patients, thoroughly educating them about their visual needs and ocular health.

Her professional interests include primary care, pediatrics, vision therapy, and the management of dry eye conditions. Dedicated to staying at the forefront of optometric advances, Dr. Abdallah actively participates in continuing education to provide the highest standard of care.

Born and raised in Illinois, Dr. Abdallah is proud to serve her community with a commitment to enhancing eye health and overall well-being.

Specializing in pediatric vision care and binocular vision, Dr. Allen has loved pediatric optometry since witnessing what a proper correction can do for the development of a young child.

Dr. Allen is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO). She educates future optometrists and enjoys working with symptomatic patients to
improve their visual function through therapy, which in turn makes their
vision better and more comfortable.

Ayman Tabani, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in May 2019 with an honors in clinical excellence, and she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Illinois – Chicago in 2015.

Born in Pakistan, Dr. Tabani spent her formative years in Ireland, where she cultivated a global perspective through vibrant cultural experiences. Fluent in English, French, Irish, Urdu, and Hindi, Dr. Tabani serves a diverse community. Dr. Tabani’s love for optometry lies in patient interaction and troubleshooting visual needs. Enthusiastic about preventive eye care, she leverages her public health background to diagnose and manage conditions like myopia and dry eye disease.

She specializes in myopia management and specialty contact lenses, holding a certification in OrthoKeratology with Paragon CRT for Corneal Refractive Therapy. Dr. Tabani is also a certified provider of the Brilliant Futures Myopia Management Program, allowing her to deliver outstanding care for the treatment and management of myopia in children.

Throughout her career, Dr. Tabani has acquired extensive clinical experience in the management of pre- and post-operative ophthalmic surgical care, encompassing areas such as cataract and refractive surgery; specifically, LASIK and PRK. Her expertise further extends to geriatrics, ocular disease, glaucoma, diabetic management, pediatrics, and dry eye disease.

Dr. Tabani is happily married with two adorable girls, she cherishes precious family moments. Coming from a close-knit and supportive background, family holds a special place in her heart. Beyond work, her passion for travel extends internationally and locally, with favorite destinations like Hawaii, Dubai, Banff, and Ireland. Committed to community involvement, she dedicates time volunteering at health fairs and providing eye care for underserved populations.

Dr. Raphaella Tran is an associate at North Suburban Vision Consultants. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. She completed her Molecular and Cellular undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She furthered her studies graduating summa cum laude at the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she also completed her Masters of Science in Physiological Optics and Vision Science. Her area of study and research for her Masters degree was in Myopia Management. She has presented her work at the American Academy of Optometry and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology conferences. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Raphaella Tran specializes in myopia management, dry eye disease and specialty contact lens services. She is certified to fit myopia management contact lenses such as, but not limited to, MiSight, NaturalVue and Paragon CRT. She has also developed a passion for treatment and management of dry eye disease.

She received her certificate for the Keratoconus Essentials Program and has been awarded the Ebling Award in Medical Contact Lenses, and the GP Lens Institute for Clinical Excellence for fitting sclerals, hybrids and gas permeable lenses for anterior segment diseases such as keratoconus, corneal ectasias and transplants. She also has experience with hard-to-fit lenses with higher-order aberration scleral in Ovitz and eye molds.

During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her husband and taking their husky Dasher to enjoy the outdoors.
